Salisbury Lodge Guide

- Facilities: Salisbury Lodge is found at about 1, 130 m on the tussock‑fringed Tableland in Kahurangi National Park. Managed by DOC, this serviced hut offers heating, mattresses and basic water—bring your own purification. It sleeps 22 in bunks and was built in 1974 to replace an earlier 1928 shelter. Accessible via a 4‑5 hr tramp from Flora car park, the approach crosses beech forest and open alpine terrain.
