Telegraph Peak (California) Climbing Notes

Hiking Chick from UNITED STATES writes:

Hiked to Telegraph and Thunder today 3/24. We cheated a little by taking the ski lift. The snow on the ski runs is thin, but on the was up to Telegraph (after the saddle), it was very steep and a slog to hike in the snow. Microspikes and poles definitely needed. We took a use/hiker trail on our way down. The views from Telegraph are spectacular. It is the best T out of the 3 Ts (Thunder and Timber being the other two).
