Built and managed by the Mōkihinui‑Lyell Backcountry Trust, it offers basic comforts—cooking, heating and mattresses—along the Old Ghost Road. The standard hut sleeps 14 across bunks and is reached via a 3 km tramp from Mokihinui Forks Hut.
