Torehytten – Climbing, Hiking & Mountaineering information

Torehytten was built in 1964 and is located by Øvre Solvatnet with a view of Hårteigen. Hårteigen is a destination for many who visit the cabin. With its 1690 meters above sea level, on a clear day you get a rare panoramic view of the entire western plateau. Otherwise, Torehytten can be recommended as one of the accommodation options on the trip from, for example, Haukeliseter to Kinsarvik. This is a trip where you will experience the great variations in the landscape on the Hardangervidda plateau.
