Stordalsbu is located at the top of Stordalen with a good view of the large lakes in the area. The self-catering cabin was built in 1972 and is well sheltered from the westerly winds. Stordalsbu divides the marked route between Mogen and Kalhovd into two suitable day stages. With regard to trips in the area, it is possible to choose both easier and more demanding excursions, if you do not want to try your luck at fishing. In the area around Stordalsbu there are many good fishing opportunities.
