The Tourist Association's main room at Dovrefjell is open in the summer. Once one of the Tourist Association's most beautiful cabins, it was closed for over 50 years. The new" tourist cabin is well worth a visit! Reinheim tourist cabin was built by the Norwegian Tourist Association (DNT) in 1952 and was taken over by the Armed Forces in connection with the development of Hjerkinn shooting range in 1958. The cabin then changed its name to Snøheim. In the fall of 2007, DNT Oslo and the surrounding area received Snøheim back from the military. The cabin has now been converted into a modern serviced tourist association cabin with 80 beds.
