Located near the Grange del Pis, in the middle of a plateau among larches and pastures, at the head of the Carbonieri Valley. Built in 1928 as a hunting lodge by the Canadian couple Lowrie, the refuge was donated to the CAI UGET Val Pellice section and inaugurated in 1931. Expanded and renovated, it now has 24 beds and a large restaurant.
