- Facilities: Harman Hut is positioned at about 860 m in the remote Kelly Range–Styx River area, managed by the Department of Conservation. Built in the 1960s as a six‑bunk standard shelter, it offers basic comforts like a wood‑burning stove, mattresses and untreated tap water (boil before use). Access follows the Styx Saddle track via alpine terraces and a swing‑bridge over the Harman River.
