- Facilities: Crosbies Hut sits at about 623 m on the Coromandel Range within Coromandel Forest Park. Built by DOC in 2010 on the site of a former woolshed, it sleeps ten in a single-room serviced hut warmed by a wood stove and fitted with mattresses and basic sanitation. Approached via several tracks—including Waiotahi, Te Puru or Booms Flat—the hut rewards hikers with sweeping views across Mercury Bay, Table Mountain and the Firth of Thames.
