At 3180 m.a.s.l., above Zermatt, the hut from the sections SAC Oberaargau and SAC Lägern was newly built in 2023/24 and offers a unique panorama. The view of the Valais four-thousand-metre peaks from the Dom to Monte Rosa and the Matterhorn alone makes the climb worthwhile. The hut is the starting point for high alpine summer tours such as Wellenkuppe, Obergabelhorn or Zinalrothorn.
