There are a few basic hiking tracks around Cradle Mountain but you have to pay to get further up the track to the Lake Sinclair area.
Hiking around cradle mountain can get very cold and rainy in winter. During summer is a nicer time for hiking if you are not too interested in snow.
The hiking tracks are well maintained and have decent signs with track lengths and times.
