Located way back in Val Piumogna, a hidden side valley of Leventina. Historically the first SAC cabin on Tessin soil and the first large stone cabin in Switzerland. Today it is a three-storey spacious house. A base for high alpine hikes to other cabins and ascents to Pizzo Campo Tencia. There is a nature trail on the access trail via Alpe Morghirolo. In winter this is a rarely visited challenging ski mountaineering area.
