Tjønnebu is located by Tjønnene east of Valldal, in Reinheimen National Park. The cabin is located between four lakes and there is top quality fish in all the lakes. Fishing permits can be purchased at Grønningsæter or at Tjønnebu. A half-hour drive from Tjønnebu is the larger Illstigvatnet with good fishing opportunities.
