Svarvestolen is a beautiful log cabin located in the heart of Finnemarka. The cabin has soul and a lot of history in its walls. It is a great hiking area, with several opportunities. The location of the cabin provides a good view over a large part of the field. LOCATION: Svarvestolen is located in Finnemarka north of Drammen, 2 km northwest of Glitre. Easiest access from the Vikersund side of the field. There is no paved trail to the cabin in winter.
