DNT Oslo and the surrounding area claim: From Hovdehytta you have the best view of Vestmarka. The cabin is located on a plateau and is a great starting point for afternoon walks or further into Vestmarka. On bare ground it is steep, exciting and a short way up from Bergsmarka. In winter it is recommended to go skiing or snowshoeing from Solli.
