Sandvasshytta is Haugesund Tourist Association's oldest cabin, but the cabin from 1930 has now been replaced by a new cabin that was built in 2010. It appears to be a spacious and beautiful cabin. Sikringshytta was built in 1992. Right next door is Sandvatnet.
