Located in the Campo Pericoli basin, in the heart of the Gran Sasso and Monti Della Laga National Park. From the refuge, you can reach the summit of Corno Grande in about two and a half hours. Built in 1886, the refuge has exceptional historical value, being one of the oldest in Italy. It is currently closed for renovation. The emergency room has seven beds and is always open.
