  • Facilities: Rifugio Altissimo‑chiesa Damiano is set at 2, 060 m just below the summit of Monte Altissimo di Nago, offering sweeping 360° views from the Dolomites to the Apennines. Built by SAT in 1892 and later dedicated to Damiano Chiesa in 1919, it now belongs to the SAT Section of Mori and is run by Eleonora Orlandi. With around 35 bunks (plus a 10‑bed winter bivouac), it blends rustic hospitality—hot meals, electricity, bike access, child‑ and pet‑friendly service—with rich wartime history and alpine charm.

A refuge located at the summit of Mount Altissimo di Nago, in an extremely panoramic position. The refuge was built in the late 19th century and has been expanded and renovated several times. It is accessible not only in summer, and the breathtaking view makes it a popular destination.
