Mt Fell Hut Guide

- Facilities: Mt Fell Hut is tucked just below the alpine meadow a kilometre south of the 1, 602 m summit of Mt Fell in Mount Richmond Forest Park. Built in 1964 and airlifted to safer ground in 2016–17, this six‑bunk refuge managed by DOC offers basic comforts like a wood‑burner and mattresses, with untreated tap water (boil before use). Access is via a long ridge route from Timms Creek car‑park.
