Of all DNT Oslo and Surroundings' self-service cabins, Bjordalsbu is the highest at 1580 m above sea level. The location makes the cabin a great starting point for exploring the terrain in the area. The fact that it is located so high provides good opportunities for nice spring ski trips, as the snow lies for a long time in this area. We recommend taking the trip from Breistølen to Bjordalsbu - and from there to Iungsdalshytta, Kongshelleren and Geiterygghytta. This is a trip in hilly terrain that offers many nice experiences.
