Very nice and green mountain, to climb with all the family. The most easy way is from Coll de Jou ( 400 m up, 45 minutes). In winter can have snow and the roads be closed to the traffic. Usually, no danger of avalanches.

Latest submitted climbing notes
I climbed it in the last week of March 2019. The wind was about 60 mph at the summit with whiteout conditions. My group managed to get through the blizzard above the treeline but absolutely do not lose sight of the cairns or else you're stranded. The trail is completely lost because of the hard freeze plus the snow. Great for the adventurous at heart, I must say.
The trail to the top of Mount Bailey is about 1/2 mile. There are cliffs up top so caution to your kids. Trail built by volunteers of Burland HOA. Please stay to left (east) of towers as that is HOA property. To the right (west) of tower is private property so please honor their privacy. Please haul out your trash. From the top there are views to the west of Whale Peak and Glacier Peak as you look towards Kenosha Pass. To the southwest is the Platte River Range and Windy Peak is one of the higher peaks.
