Jagged ridges, massive towers, corners, overhangs, slabs: these are the features one encounters when climbing the granite mountains around Salbitschijen. The cabin for climbers and mountain hikers has a round lounge and is the starting point for the challenging alpine «Fünf-Hütten-Panoramaweg» (five cabin panorama trail) in Göschenertal. The high alpine, 90 m long Salbit bridge and a 45 m long iron ladder (via ferrata set required) connect the cabin to SAC’s Voralphütte.
