    Lianne Smith from Australia

After many climbs up Ngungun, Beerburrum and Coolum, my friend and I thought let's do Beerwah.

I had no idea it was a straight rock face climb, thought it would be another walk in the park track.
My friend who is scared of heights decided she wasnt game enough to climb, but me being me thought Ah I can do it, so I proceeded n it was ok with little foot/hand holes in places, but after a bit they were gone n i had to just use my strength to pull myself up, I looked down, and thought to myself what the hell am I doing?!
I was no way going to go down, it looked impossible so after a few fear tears and thinking I will have to be rescued, I had to continue up.
I reached the top of the first part and there was a little track so i climbed up till i got to a level at the base of the second tower, I was exhausted and didn't want to carry on, but I had no choice, panic struck in when I couldn't find a way up or down using a track i thought I had been told about, along came Warwick, I told him I was trying to find the track down, anyway he carried on upwards, after I looked for the track and came to a dead end both ways with no way out but up, but I couldn't climb the huge rock, so i went back to the part I came up and rang my friend down the bottom, I told her I couldn't get down which made her panic lol, but alas Warwick returned and assured me he would help me down, after sliding down some parts on by butt and belly down some parts we got to the bottom.
I cried a few tears of joy to be back with my friend.
Never again and if you are not strong or experienced, don't do it!
