Sitting in front of the cabin feels like approaching Sernftal 1000 m below in a plane. That is how steep the steps in the terrain are which need to be ascended. Luckily there is a small gondola up to Alp Nideren. The gently renovated stone building full of character is a typical summer cabin offering col crossings towards Laax, climbing parks in the environs and observation points of the Swiss Tectonic Arena Sardona.
