A cabin for mountain hikers on a terrace vis-à-vis Braunwald, located in the centre of Europe’s oldest game reserve Freiberg Kärpf. Attractions include: animal watching, pretty mountain lakes and geological sites such as Kärpfbrücke, with its 50 m long natural rock tunnel. It is an up-to-date SAC cabin, well suited for families, groups and is a starting point for snowshoe hikes in winter. Next to the cabin there is a climbing area with routes of all difficulties.
