Kinder Scout Climbing Notes

Sean from UNITED KINGDOM writes:

Been up and down Kinder many times.

There are several different ascents my favourite is via Grindsbrook though it can be tricky in snow and ice.

Another is via Blackden Brook, equally as tricky.

Probably the easiest is up via the Snake Pass.

The plateau on the top has a lot of peat and can be very boggy.

Stick to the paths and don't go unprepared.

On a clear day there are some amazing views.
