Kailas Climbing Notes
Paul Carlile from IRELAND writes:
Kailas is not for climbing! It is sacred to the Buddhists and the Hindus. Krishna and Parvati spent 10,000 years 'in union' there after their marriage!
Beautiful peak - the navel of the world.
The kora (walk around the peak) is tough, but well worth doing, but generally impossible without yaks to act as snow ploughs.
Namaste!
