It stands in a charming and wild amphitheater, on a grassy plateau in the center of a valley, surrounded by spires, towers, and Dolomite peaks. The bivouac, modeled after the Berti Foundation, was rebuilt in 1989 after the original structure, located a little lower down, was destroyed by an avalanche. A water source is 15 minutes away. It has 12 beds.
