Did Ben, Saturday left visitor centre 05.30a.m. and summited at 08.40 , deepish snow after zig zags so crampons on for last 45/60 mins. Brilliant day 100% clear views. 3.5 hour descent for me was harder than ascent guess cos I'm nearly 67 now!

A long walk, but easy going - no climbing involved on the main path.
Anyone with reasonable fitness should be able to do it with decent boots and a good rain jacket. A different proposition in winter of course.

Start at Glen Nevis visitor centre for the standard route. Not for beginners, took us 4 1/2 hours up and 3 hours down.
