Veøystua (Veoystua) – Climbing, Hiking & Mountaineering information

Simple cabin on historic Veøya in the Romsdalsfjord. Only accessible by sea by boat or kayak. See info about DNT Romsdals kayak rental only 3 km paddling from Veøystua. Important info for those who are going to rent Veøystua: - The cabin must be booked in advance in its entirety regardless of the number of people. - There is no fresh water on Veøya, so all drinking and washing water must be brought from the mainland. Some springs exist, but we recommend boiling this. - There is currently no cooking equipment or kitchen equipment in the cabin, so you may need to bring a primus, gas and kitchen equipment. - 4 beds + 2 mattresses. - There is firewood in the hallway of the cabin or in the outhouse. - The outdoor toilet can be found in the outhouse that was used as a stable during forestry operations in the old days
