Tomashelleren was opened in 2002. The cabin is located high and open between Vangsmjøse and Bygdin. The location below Tomashelleren naturally gave the cabin its name. Tomashelleren was built to develop the road network north of Vangsmjøse, and has become a great gateway for trips to Yksendalsbu and Fondsbu. On the trip to Tomashelleren you arrive high and free with a good view of the peaks of Jotunheimen.
