In 2014, Snytindhytta was voted Norway's coolest mountain hut by UT.no for good reason. Surrounded by Snytindan, which offers several great descents of 600 meters in altitude and with views of Møysalen and Møyene, this is a cabin gem in Hinnøya's wildest mountain world. The unattended cabin is a popular destination for mountain hikers, but in recent years more and more steep skiers have found their way here to the heart of the Vesterål Alps. Here you will find everything you need, from daypacks to a wood-fired sauna, cabin library, 12V wind and solar power system and 24 comfortable beds. In the summer, you can of course dive straight from the rock and into the lake a few meters away from the cabin wall. And afterwards, you can light a fire on the prepared campfire site by the cabin and enjoy the midnight sun!
