The Sciliar – Schlernbödele Mountain Hut was built by the AVS of Bolzano in 1969 and then rebuilt in 1984 after being destroyed by a snowslide. Lying at the foot of Sciliar, the refuge is a classic starting point when climbing Santner and Burgstallwand or for numerous excursions.
