- Facilities: Rifugio Settimo Alpini is located at 1,502 m in the wild amphitheatre beneath the south face of the Schiara, within the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park. Opened in 1951 and dedicated to the fallen of the 7th Alpini Regiment, it offers about 60 bunks and a winter shelter. Managed by Chiara and Fabrizio, it blends modern comforts—hot water, electricity, Wi‑Fi and a restaurant—with a storied alpine setting and access via the classic CAI 501 trail.

It stands on a grassy plateau at the foot of the Schiara mountain range. It is a stopping point on the Alta Via No. 1 and one of the main mountaineering bases for the Schiara mountain range. It was inaugurated in 1951 and today has approximately 60 beds.
