It is located at the edge of the forest, in the upper Bosconero Valley, along the Alta Via delle Dolomiti n.3 and the Anello Zoldano. The refuge was originally a farmhouse, first transformed into a bivouac and then, in 1985, into a refuge. It now has a fully equipped teaching room.
