- Facilities: Rifugio Bozano Lorenzo is tucked at 2, 453 m in the Argentera Valley within the Maritime Alps Natural Park. Open mid‑June to mid‑September (winter room always accessible), it offers around 24–34 bunks in dormitories with hot water, electricity and a welcoming restaurant atmosphere. Managed by Marco Quaglia, it was rebuilt in 2001 beside the original 1921 structure and remains a classic base for climbers tackling Corno Stella.

It stands on a gravelly knoll at the foot of the southern face of Corno Stella. The refuge is named in memory of Lorenzo Bozano, a pioneer of mountaineering and skiing. It is the ideal base for around a hundred climbing routes.
