Refugi Vallferrera – Climbing, Hiking & Mountaineering information

Financed and built thanks to the effort of several hiker entities of the country, thatboard that did mountain refuge functions remained for more than sixty years with the same stone and slate structure characteristic of this Pallaesa Valley. Refugi Vallferrera is a payment refuge located in Catalonia (Spain). From 21 they passed at the current 60 seats and the dining room, kitchen, rooms and toilets were completely remodeled. Available services: blankets, food and drinks, heating, internet, shower and toilet. A change from top to bottom, who surely thanked hikers like guards. Inaugurated in 1935, Vallferrera is the oldest federative refuge in Catalonia. Access from the La Molinassa bridge (where you arrive by all -terrain vehicle from àreu) is quite short, which can be accessed perfectly with children.
