Melands Grønahei is a unique natural area worth a visit! 500 million years ago a meteorite crashed and created a 2.7 kilometer wide crater. The path from Kleivaland to Melands Grønahei goes through the crater. You will not find such a path anywhere else on earth. In recent times, the crater has been named Ritlandskrateret.
