- Facilities: Helags Mountain Station lies at about 1,030 m elevation at the foot of Sweden’s highest peak south of the Arctic Circle, Helagsfjället (1,797 m), and is run by STF (Svenska Turistföreningen). The first hut was erected in 1897 to aid summit attempts. Today it offers around 84 beds across shared dorms and cozy four‑bed rooms, including a historic wood‑heated cabin. Its remote plateau setting is reached via a marked 12 km trail from Kläppen.
