- Facilities: Fenella Hut is set at about 1, 120 m in the remote Cobb Valley of Kahurangi National Park. Operated by DOC, this serviced 12‑bunk refuge was built in 1979 as a memorial to Fenella Druce. A gentle, well‑maintained tramping route from Trilobite Hut leads through beech forest and tussock to reach its warm interior, where cooking, heating and basic water facilities await—just boil before use.
