Dillon Hut Guide

- Facilities: Dillon Hut is located at about 224 m in the Kelly Range–Styx River area, offering a cosy refuge with heating, mattresses and basic sanitation. Built by DOC in 2003 to replace the old homestead shelter, it sleeps ten in bunks and draws water from a tank-fed tap (boil before use). Accessible via a 2–3 hour walk along a 4WD route from SH 73, it’s managed by DOC.
