Coppermine Creek Hut Guide

- Facilities: Coppermine Creek Hut is positioned on the grassy flats of South Westland at just over 50 m elevation, offering eight bunks in a cosy, wood‑heated shelter managed by the Department of Conservation. Built in 1980 by NZFS along the historic Haast–Paringa Cattle Track, it’s reached via a flat but often muddy route that crosses Coppermine Creek. Water must be boiled before use.
