Bjørnhaugen is located on county road 14 in an attractive and widely used recreational area at the entrance to popular Melåa and Finnslettheia. This is a fantastic skiing and hiking area for those who like varying challenges. The terrain around the cabin is excellent for families with young children for smaller excursions. Bjørnhaugen was renovated in 2017 and now appears as a great cabin. It has 6 bedrooms with 12 beds with bedding, as well as extra mattresses. The cabin is often visited by school classes.
