Bakken is a historical center of the Lysefjord. The world-famous fjord cuts 42 km inland, and about halfway into the fjord, between Bratteli and Songesand, we find Bakken. The old mountain farm oozes old Lysefjorden history and is the home of the fjord's most famous character: Pilt-Ola. The mountain farm has been beautifully restored and offers accommodation with solid tourist cabin standards, including its own wood-fired pizza oven. This is a good place to be!
