Arentzbu is located in Rausdalen and was the first cabin built with funds from the doctor Fredrik Arentz legacy. The cabin was completed in 1956 and the security cabin was later expanded and modernized. The main cabin, on the other hand, is intact with both the interior and exterior as when it was built in 1956. This has meant that the Norwegian Ministry of Cultural Heritage in the year of cultural heritage 2009 protected the cabin as a good example of how a self-service cabin was built and the ideas behind the development of outdoor life accessible to everyone.
