- Facilities: Anatoki Forks Hut lies at about 640 m in Kahurangi National Park’s rugged Golden Bay hinterland. Managed by DOC, this light-filled six‑bunk shelter was built in the early 1970s by NZFS and NZDA to replace the old Sweeney’s Hut. It offers a rare wet‑back stove and even a hot shower fed from a stream‑fed tank, with basic long‑drop toilets and untreated tap water—boil before use.
