Easiest way up is to park at Nick of Pendle and take the long ridge that leads directly to a major path to the summit. Once at the summit wander off North-West (to around the point on the OS map covered by the number 46) and you'll find a well that it is said George Fox - the leader of the Quaker movement - drank from when he had his epiphany...
