Just completed the hike starting at the LOJ this was one of the hardest hikes I've done. There is a constant rise to Lake Arnald from 2200 to 3800 ft, with an immediate climb down about 1000ft. Some what easy hiking till you make the ascend to Lake Tear of the clouds about 1000ft in 1.5 miles. Take note at the spiral glyf on the giant rock up there. Heading to the 4 corners is straight forward then a 600ft jump in 0.5miles to the summit.
Its a difficult climb start to finish, but the veiws are worth it. Round trip took me about 15hrs.
