The high-tech building with its innovative shape and silvery aluminium shell resembles a rock crystal. Building services and energy supply are controlled by software developed at ETH Zurich. Ascents include some of the highest summits in Switzerland. The cabin is among the most visited SAC mountain guesthouses.
