  The starting point for this mountain is very accessible, it is located at Cemoro Sewu (45km from Solo), in the side of the provincial road. There are 2 main trekking path, Cemoro Sewu and Cemoro Kandang. Cemoro Sewu is a relatively easy track because of the stairs that lies from the starting point until the peak. 4-6 hours are needed to reach the summit.
